Get more out of the defences
you already own.
We work alongside your team to build detections that fire on real threats, tune out the noise burying your analysts, and tighten the processes behind them.
More tools are rarely the answer.
Most security teams are not short of products. They are short of detections that work, alerts they can trust, and response steps that hold up under pressure. Alert fatigue buries real threats, misconfigured log sources leave blind spots, and runbooks exist on paper but not in practice.
Our defensive specialists embed with your team. We write and test detection logic for your environment, tune your existing rules until the alerts are worth reading, and help shape the triage, escalation and runbooks your analysts follow. The work stays with you when we leave.
- Custom detections for your SIEM, EDR and network tooling, with portable Sigma logic
- An alert-volume review and tuning of your noisiest, lowest-value rules
- An ATT&CK coverage map with a prioritized detection backlog
- A SOC process review: triage, escalation paths and metrics
- Runbooks your analysts can follow consistently
- Threat intelligence wired into your detections and enrichment
Measure, build, tune, hand over.
Baseline
We review your log sources, rules, alert volumes and workflows, and map current detection coverage to ATT&CK.
Build detections
We write and test detection logic for the techniques that matter most to you, version-controlled so it can be maintained.
Tune the noise
Thresholds, baselines, asset and identity context, and correlation to group related events, without opening blind spots.
Hand over
Runbooks, metrics and a backlog your team owns, with a tuning cadence so the noise does not come back.
Four parts of a working defence.
Detection engineering
SIEM correlation rules, EDR behavioural policies, network detections and detection-as-code pipelines, mapped to ATT&CK.
SOC optimization
Maturity review, triage and escalation redesign, tooling rationalization and the metrics that show progress: MTTD, MTTR and false-positive rates.
Alert tuning
Find the rules consuming analyst time for little value, recalibrate severity to business impact, and suppress known-benign activity safely.
Intelligence integration
Indicator ingestion and enrichment pipelines, and detections informed by the techniques of the groups targeting your sector.
Who it is for
Organizations with an in-house SOC or security team whose analysts are drowning in alerts, whose SIEM was bought but never properly tuned, or who are standing up detection for the first time and want it done right.
- Purple teaming, prove the new detections fire
- SIEM, the platform your detections run on
- Threat hunting, find what no rule was written for
- MSOC, if you would rather we run it for you
What buyers ask.
Will you make us switch platforms?
No. We are platform agnostic and work with the SIEM, EDR and network tooling you already run. Where we write portable logic, it goes in Sigma so it moves with you.
Won't tuning out alerts create blind spots?
Only if it is done carelessly. We tune with asset and identity context, test each change, and track ATT&CK coverage before and after so you can see nothing important was lost.
We'd rather build this capability ourselves.
That is the point. We work alongside your engineers, document everything and leave the detections, runbooks and backlog with your team.
Should we just hand this to a managed service?
If you would rather not run a SOC yourself, MSOC or MDR may suit you better. Blue team work is for organizations that want to keep and strengthen their own.
Make your alerts worth reading.
Put an engineer on a call to scope detection and tuning work for your SOC. No charge, no commitment.
